What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform patient registration, scheduling, and insurance verification duties
- Answer phone calls from patients with professionalism and efficiency
- Request, track, and obtain pre-authorization from insurance carriers
- Communicate insurance changes or trends among the team
- Document all communications and contacts with providers and personnel
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 - 2 years of medical office experience preferred
- Proficient knowledge in medical terminology
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products
