What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze the reasonableness of appraisals to confirm eligibility for sale to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac
- Identify salability issues and collaborate with the AMC/Staff Appraiser to resolve them
- Ensure reported values are supported for financing purposes while evaluating report completion methodology
- Maintain daily and monthly goals set by senior management
- Communicate directly with appraisal vendors to clarify and obtain additional supporting data as necessary
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Certified or Certified General Appraisal License in active status and good standing
- Demonstrated expertise in researching, interpreting, and applying Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac guidelines
- Working knowledge of Collateral Underwriter
- Expert organizational skills with a strong understanding of tools and resources for accurate information retrieval
- Minimum of 40 hours per week availability
