      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct routine receiving, processing, and cataloging of new print approval books from around the world
      - Perform quality control reviews of materials and collaborate with vendors to rectify shipment and invoice errors
      - Communicate changes to approval plans internally and externally
      - Serve as a point of contact for inquiries regarding content availability through approval plans
      - Support the mission of acquiring and describing collection materials in the Resource Acquisition & Description department

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
      - At least two years of library experience (experience gained while a student or in a part-time capacity will be considered)
      - Ability to perform extensive use of desktop computers
      - Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
      - Willingness to travel some distance to attend meetings and programs

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with SirsiDynix Workflows or similar Integrated Library Systems
      - Reading knowledge of Spanish, German, French, or Italian
      - Knowledge of library technical services operations
      - Proficiency with Microsoft Office
