Job Description

- Generate a report to reconcile ARC transactions on daily basis for multiple IATA numbers
- As a key member of the ARC team, the ARC Specialist will be responsible for reviewing, and correcting data daily between ARC'S (Airline Reporting Corporation) web-based tool IAR (Interactive Agent Reporting) and our back-office system Travcom.
- Change commission amounts to make sure they are matching to ARC reports as well as checking ticket exchanges
- Review exchange and refund documents to be sure that the proper fees/penalties have been applied to the transaction
- Review the Back Office reconciliation errors and communicate, fix the issues, and inform the Air/Support teams
- Close service desk tickets daily and assist the advisors with any ARC-related questions
- Maintain good relationship with travel advisors to make sure they are satisfied with service and ARC reporting provided as well as other requests and ticket inquires
- Contact front office agents for clarification on any discrepancies, and work to resolve the issues
- Partner cross-functionally with other teams, such as General Ledger, Financial Reporting, IT and Support teams to ensure timely and accurate ARC reporting
- Responsible for testing and implementation of new software
- Respond to ad hoc requests for information
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or Travel/Hospitality
- 2-4 years of GDS experience - Apollo, Travel Port Sabre, Worldspan (at least one)
- Must have exceptional customer service skills and ability to identify advisor needs and perform the necessary tasks to keep them satisfied
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills (both oral and written)
- Ability to meet tight deadlines while ensuring data integrity and working in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of ARC process, financial data, and business processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Overview

Work Schedule is Monday to Friday from 8AM to 6PM PST (some flexibility with those times)
The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a wide range to comply with pay transparency laws in all states and geographical areas. Many factors, such as years of experience, geographical location, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company's financial goal achievement and individual performance.
