What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive architectural design expertise to enhance market share with architects, designers, and contractors
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements and ensure design feasibility
- Update and review product specifications to align with industry standards and project needs
- Conduct product research and stay informed on industry trends and building codes
- Manage CRM opportunities and facilitate engagement with architects and distributors
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Business, or Marketing
- 3-5 years of specification experience in a related field, preferably in a technical support/construction sales role
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and design visualization tools (e.g., SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Strong knowledge of building codes and construction practices
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- AIA/CSI Membership is an asset
- Experience with CRM and construction software (e.g., Dodge, Construct Connect)
- Familiarity with construction materials, finishes, and building systems
- Proven experience in business development, project management, and sales support
- Strong collaboration and communication skills within cross-functional teams
