      The Opportunity

      Are you an experienced General Manager with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences? Mango House Seychelles, LXR Hotels & Resorts & Canopy by Hilton Seychelles is seeking a highly motivated and talented Hotel Cluster General Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation and success of our properties. In addition, this position will also serve as Area General Manager Seychelles leading the area strategy of 6 hotels.

      The Properties

      Mango House Seychelles, LXR: Positioned along the waterfront, the Mango House Seychelles resort provides immediate entry to Anse Aux Poules Bleues – the captivating Aquarium of Wonders. The resort presents 41 sea-facing villas and suites, accompanied by a range of experiences that include shimmering pools, picturesque forest trails and a spa. Culinary experiences are offered at five unique dining locations, featuring everything from poolside snacks to delectable Creole dishes.

      Canopy by Hilton Seychelles: Perched above the scenic Anse a La Mouche Bay, Canopy By Hilton Seychelles provides direct beach access and is conveniently situated near Jardin Du Roi and local art attractions. Boasting a prime beachfront location, this accommodation features an enticing outdoor swimming pool, lush gardens, and a stylish restaurant. Just a stone's throw away from the picturesque Anse à la Mouche Beach and a mere 2.4 km from Anse Louis Beach, the property enhances its appeal with an array of water sports facilities and a vibrant bar.

      The Role

      This exciting dual Cluster General Manager and Area General Manager position will be responsible for managing the two hotels as well as a total of 6 properties, the Hotel Management teams, and targets to deliver an excellent Guest and Team Member experience while managing profitability and meeting our Owners expectations.

      What will you be doing?

      Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

      • Manage and lead the hotel operations
      • Spearheading change management
      • Manage ongoing profitability of the hotels, ensuring revenue, guest satisfaction and Team Member engagement goals are met and exceeded
      • Lead in all key property issues including capital projects, customer service, and refurbishment
      • Ensure all decisions are made in the best interest of the hotels and Hilton
      • Deliver achievable hotel budgets, and set other short- and long- term strategic goals for the properties
      • Provide exceptional leadership to hotel Team Members focusing on Hilton culture and values
      • Lead in all aspects of business planning
      • Comply with and exceed Hilton Brand Service Standards
      • Ensure costs are controlled
      • Manage and develop the Hotel Executive teams to ensure career progression and effective succession planning within Hilton
      • Hold regular briefings and communication meetings with the HOD team
      • Respond to audits to ensure continual improvement is achieved

      What are we looking for?

      The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills with a strong focus on Owner relations, Commercial and Operations, guest experience and Team Member engagement. Enthusiastic and passionate, you will have recent or current experience as a luxury General Manager within a large complex hotel or as cluster General Manager, you must have resorts experience.

      • Strong operational knowledge from a people/leadership perspective - the GM needs to be "present" and lead from the front
      • Strong ability to collaborate and foster networks and relationships, with owners, contractors, corporates, and Tour Operators confidently – must be highly visible.
      • Deliver innovative commercial opportunities with experience in increasing profitability especially in the All-inclusive / MICE / resort background / Groups and tour operator business
      • Exceptional stakeholder/owner relations experience
      • Ability to show resilience, judgement and leadership
      • Exceptional people leadership and retention of talent - bring a team together on a journey and instilling the Hilton culture and values
      • Passion for networking, being highly visible to foster networks and relationships
      • Ability to lead a hotel operations in a highly competitive market
      • Experience of delivering exceptional guest experience and driving SALT scores
      • Exceptional communication skills and presence
      • Strong commercial acumen, with experience in increasing profitability, managing budgets, revenue proposals, and forecasting results
      • In-depth knowledge of the hotel/leisure/service sector
      • Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent
      • English language mandatory, fluency in French would be highly desirable
