      About the job
      You will work together with the Sales team in Food Specialties. We are a small team with big potential. Although everyone has their own scope, we are flexible, agile and hands-on. With the 200 years BK Giulini experience we have a strong name in the market and deep customer relations based on our technical service and solution oriented approach. We see lots of additional potential in emerging markets and need a strong Area Sales Manager to support our growth targets. You can quickly add value to the team by identifying new business opportunities in the region.

      Your main responsibilities will be:

      • Develop and implement sales strategies to expand our presence and market share in the Middle East and Africa region.
      • Identify, prospect, and build strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
      • Understand consumer & customer needs in all our business segments (Dairy, Meat, Seafood, Bakery) and provide tailored solutions using our specialized range of phosphate solutions and functional systems.
      • Monitor and analyze the applicable markets and competitors to assess our market position, develop growth strategies and identify key focus areas.
      • Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals and post-sale support.
      • Closely collaborate with our technical and R&D teams to drive new product development and provide application support as well as technical service to our customers delivering unparalleled value.
      • Partner with the marketing team to create and execute effective marketing campaigns and materials to support sales efforts.
      • Ensure coordination of customers’ requirements with all internal functions in our organization
      • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive analysis, and emerging opportunities.
      • Attend industry conferences and trade shows to promote our products and services.
      • Achieve and exceed sales & profitability targets for MEA region, while maintaining a strong customer focus.
      • Prepare regular sales & activity reports and forecasts to present to the management team

      About you
      This is a role that needs a min of 5 years’ relevant experience in commercial or technical field for food ingredients. A degree in Food Science/ Technology is an advantage and direct experience within the food ingredients or food manufacturing industry is highly preferred.

      In addition, you bring,

      • Proactive, organized, and hands-on mentality
      • Self-motivated and able to work independently
      • Understanding of the EU markets of food ingredients
      • Excellent verbal and written negotiation and communication skills in English
      • Knowledge of Turkish or Arabic language is highly preferable
      • Willingness to travel frequently within Middle East and Africa

      Location: Germany preferred (Ladenburg) or homebased near a major airport.
