What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage sales of the company’s products within a defined geographic area with a sales budget of $7-$10 million
- Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to establish sales goals and strategies to increase market share
- Develop and maintain relationships with independent manufacturers' representatives and distributors
- Perform sales activities on major accounts and negotiate sales prices and discounts
- Maintain clear written records of all contacts and potential business while providing quarterly results and assessments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or business studies is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sales of building products
- Technical or hands-on background in the residential HVAC field is highly desirable
- Competency in using MS Office and CRM programs for lead generation
- Must reside in the Greater Boston or New York area
