      Job Description

      We are looking for an Asset Manager – UK who will be responsible to manage risk and ensure compliance with applicable legislation across BSO & BOO activities, maximise and realise value of existing (and growing) UK assets, and draw on group service providers to optimize the value of projects and assets.

      Responsibilities:

      • Maintaining in-depth knowledge of route-to-market choices for renewable energy assets in UK and Ireland
      • Translate electricity price (and other ancillary service) forecasts into business plans
      • Optimise asset performance under RtM agreements and awareness of regulatory risks
      • Support with the development of PPAs for specified projects
      • Support the VP Asset Manager (Region 1) with the asset ownership responsibilities for the operational pipeline of Region 1 UK projects and assets
      • Supporting warranty contract management and claims management matters
      • Implement and follow-up of appropriate risk management, performance and cost monitoring systems
      • Contribute to OPEX estimations and models
      • Oversight of pipeline PfO activities and identifying commercial risks (and mitigating them) ahead of them materialising
      • Support service contract negotiations with OEMs during pre-construction phase of pipeline projects
      • Contribute on engagement with external stakeholders and internal Business Areas
      • Work with Wind, Solar & Grid Development on relevant pipeline assets
      • Support on due diligence processes during relevant M&A transactions
      • Requirement writing / technical specification development for systems and tools to be developed in collaboration with Central Asset Management team
      • Timely reporting of individual project and overall pipeline progress, value, and changes
      • Lead in preparation and participation of, quarterly operational committees and alignment meetings with Project Delivery, Procurement, Strategy and Central Asset Management teams

      Qualifications

      • Higher relevant education within engineering and or business, preferably at Master´s level.
      • Asset Management experience or similar role
      • Portfolio performance and risk management
      • Optimizing operational and financial performance
      • Deep wind and solar insight (technical and commercial), ability to take this knowledge and industrialise grid development pipeline and operating portfolio
      • Relationship builder with the ability to collaborate constructively
      • High personal integrity and high ethical standards with strong HSSE understanding and commitment
      • Strong commercial and analytical mindset
      • Understanding of organisation’s distributed model and encouraged to work with colleagues across region
      • Strong drive and passion for building new wind, grid and solar operating business
