      Job Description:

      The Asset Protection Manager oversees Asset Protection across all restaurant locations, with a focus on cash handling, training, point of sale (POS) system analysis, operational audits, policy compliance, and ensuring the safety of both Team Members and guests. Additionally, this position supports corporate compliance initiatives by upholding company policies, procedures, and directives. Through proactive training, clear communication, and data analysis, this role helps safeguard company assets. Responsibilities also include conducting investigations into theft, policy violations, and management concerns.

      • Support and educate Team Members and leadership on asset protection best practices

      • Partner with Operations, HR, and Legal teams to ensure a safe and secure work environment

      • Conduct thorough investigations into theft, policy infractions, and management concerns with professionalism and integrity

      • Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures

      • Analyze trends in POS transactions, identifying irregularities in voids, discounts, and cash variances

      • Develop and implement restaurant audit plans focused on cash handling, POS transactions, and personal safety

      • Create, maintain, and update policy documents, training materials, and company-wide communications to drive awareness and compliance

      • Effectively track and clearly communicate case investigation findings to leadership

      • Act quickly to identify and address security risks before they escalate

      • Utilize video surveillance, data analytics, in-person observations, and interviews to investigate suspected policy violations, theft, and irregular POS activity

      • Provide comprehensive training to field management and Team Members

      • Foster a positive and open environment where Team Members feel comfortable reporting concerns

      Qualifications

      • High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred

      • Must hold at least one certification – CFI, CFE, or LPC

      • Completion of Wicklander-Zulawski (or similar) interviewing courses is required

      • Minimum 5 – 7 years experience in Asset Protection/Loss Prevention within a restaurant or retail environment

      • Strong investigative and analytical skills with a keen eye for identifying irregularities

      • In-depth knowledge of restaurant/retail operations, inventory controls, and POS systems

      • Experience with Envysion and/or MIRUS a plus

      • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to create and maintain Excel workbooks with data and graphs

      • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and train Team Members

      • Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

      • Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills

      • Occasional travel may be required

      Hot dog! The salary range for this role is $87,000.00 - $115,000.00 . Your actual compensation will depend on experience, location, and/or additional skills you bring to the table.
