      Overview

      Position Summary:

      Fujifilm Canada leads the market in providing photographic gear to satisfy various levels of photography lovers. From our fun and trendy Instax lineup of products to our award-winning X Series and GFX brands of Digital Cameras.

      The Assistant Brand Manager will work closely with both the Brand Manager for the Photo Imaging Division (primarily Instax and QuickSnap products) and the Director of Marketing for Electronic Imaging Division (X|GFX Digital Cameras) along with various teams within Fujifilm in the execution of exciting marketing and retail programs for Fujifilm products. You will get to use your creativity and strong analytical skills to work in a dynamic, ever-changing industry!

      Fujifilm Canada offers a permanent hybrid work arrangement, with some days working in our Mississauga office and some days working from home.

      Position Responsibilities:

      • Social Management – monitor and maintain consistent brand image across various social media channels; manage monthly content calendar, communicate with blogger/influencers, follow up with metrics and analysis.
      • Event, Trade Show and Consumer Show Coordination - including but not limited to creation of POP, booking of venue space, booking of electrical, booking of hotels, processing of invoices.
      • Assist in the tactical implementation of marketing plans and product launches including involvement in the efforts of campaign creation through internal or agency partners, digital/traditional media buys and building brand awareness and positioning through PR.
      • Point of Purchase Materials – manage select projects which include creative design, material sourcing, and shipping/ kitting of materials to field representatives/stores.
      • Public Relations Support -- arrange product samples for review, track and report media coverage, follow-up with sponsored content.
      • Marketing Reports – coordinate and collect data to create marketing reports highlighting all the brand achievements for the month for Senior Management.
      • Research & Analysis – collect, manage, analyze, and report Circana market share data and trends.

      Qualifications

      Skills / Education:

      • Post-secondary degree in Business and/or Marketing.
      • 2-3 years experience in Business-to-Consumer marketing.
      • Demonstrate a professional and proactive work ethic, good analytical and problem-solving skills and a burgeoning creative side.
      • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
      • Well versed with social media, and comfortable writing in a brand’s voice.
      • Strong presentation skills, including proven success in delivering effective presentations to a variety of audiences including customers and senior management.
      • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with creating presentations, spreadsheets, and word documents using Power Point, Excel, and Word is required in this role.
      • Previous experience co-ordinating events and tradeshows is preferred.
      • Ability to work in an environment where collaboration and relationship building across multiple functions is required.
      • Highly motivated self-starter, with proven ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
      • Interest in photography is a strong asset.
