      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, ensuring accurate GAAP-compliant reporting
      - Research and apply technical accounting standards to complex business transactions
      - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and automation within the accounting function
      - Manage journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses
      - Coordinate annual audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is strongly preferred
      - 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles in SaaS or technology companies
      - Hands-on experience with NetSuite is a plus
      - Familiarity with international accounting, especially Dutch/Netherlands GAAP and tax frameworks
      - Proven ability to lead teams, manage audits, and work cross-functionally

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Public accounting background (Big 4 or regional firm)
      - Experience in a SaaS and multi-entity/global organization
      - Familiarity with technical standards relevant to SaaS companies
