Role: Assistant Director, K-12 Delivery Specialist (Contract)
Location: Fully remote.
Role Type: Full time, individual contributor
Travel: Up to 10% to school and district locations
About the Team
Our Operations division manages digital test delivery for millions of students each year. The assessment delivery team oversees the successful execution of large-scale digital assessments. That means making sure test sites meet security and network requirements, proctors are credentialed and trained to administer tests consistently and fairly, students arrive on test day with the correct documents and materials, and testing issues are addressed quickly. The team plays a critical role in the success of students and educators before, during, and after test day, and works closely with partners across the organization and the education sector to improve testing technology, customer experience, and testing outcomes.
This team works closely with the state partner success team as well as external stakeholders, primarily district assessment coordinators and school test coordinators.
About the Opportunity
As a K-12 Delivery Specialist, you will support the implementation of a state's digital assessment program. You will be the escalation point of contact for the state's district and school test coordinators as they prepare for and deliver their assessments. You will work closely with internal partners to ensure a successful test administration at every eligible school in partner states. That includes delivering training to district and school stakeholders and managing escalations in a timely manner within specified state guidelines and internal policies.
You will be most successful in this role if you are a hands-on, flexible delivery specialist who is willing to go above and beyond to support customers and find resolutions to issues.

Facilitate Communication Between Schools, Districts, and Internal Teams (20%)
• Communicate formally and informally about the assessments and their status to internal partner teams
• Conduct trainings and provide white glove support on behalf of internal teams
Drive Continuous Improvement (15%)
• Identify patterns and trends in customer needs and propose solutions related to operational workarounds, field-level pinch points, and ideal approaches for delivering trainings and handling escalations
• Contribute to process recommendations and assist in implementing them for future administrations
• Perform ad hoc duties or tasks as assigned
About You
• 3 to 5 years of related work experience in K-12 educational technology, training, the assessment industry, and/or K-12 school, state, or central office settings
