What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct ownership and title research for prospective AUM sites and mining claims
- Compile and maintain accurate records of landowners, mineral rights, and applicable encumbrances
- Assist with planning and executing staking of new mining claims on BLM and state lands
- Document field staking with GPS coordinates, maps, and photos
- Support preparation and filing of regulatory documents, including POOs and NOIs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Land Management, Natural Resources, Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field, or equivalent certification as a Landman/ permitting specialist
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in land research, permitting, compliance, or similar work
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read maps, legal land descriptions, and title records
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with GIS workflows and basic mapping tools
- Comfortable working outdoors in remote areas for staking and field support
- Proven ability to balance fieldwork and office tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to dynamic environments
