      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Oversee LACERA's Business Services Group, managing four divisions: Administrative Services, Financial and Accounting Services, Human Resources, and IT Systems
      - Act as a strategic partner to the CEO, Deputy CEO, and Executive Team, ensuring integrated operations
      - Cultivate organizational culture and strengthen workforce development initiatives
      - Lead and mentor division managers and indirect staff, promoting a customer-focused approach
      - Guide the organization in achieving its long-term strategic priorities

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Proven leadership experience in a public-sector environment
      - Strong understanding of governance practices and operational excellence
      - Excellent emotional intelligence and ability to lead through complex situations
      - Experience managing large teams, including indirect supervision of up to 160 staff
      - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Advanced degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
      - Experience in retirement systems or financial services
      - Proven track record of implementing successful organizational change initiatives
      - Familiarity with modern systems and technology in public administration
