What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including service and vendor contracts
- Collaborate with business development and commercial teams to support strategic initiatives
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and oversee legal matters within the commercial organization
- Provide training on legal and compliance topics to commercial teams
- Monitor legal developments and advise on risk mitigation strategies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Juris Doctor degree and bar admission in good standing
- 8-10+ years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal position with at least 5 years in commercial contract negotiation in healthcare or life sciences
- Strong background in commercial law, contract law, and healthcare regulations
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to non-lawyers

- Experience in the diagnostics and/or laboratory industry
- Proven ability to evaluate risk and make clear recommendations
