      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide expert legal advice on laws and regulations affecting consumer deposit and loan products
      - Collaborate with internal partners to assess and manage legal, regulatory, and reputational risks
      - Guide internal partners during regulatory examinations and audits
      - Advise on the development of consumer banking products from ideation to launch
      - Conduct legal research and develop strategies for achieving business goals

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of 12 years as a practicing attorney with relevant financial services experience
      - At least 5 years as in-house counsel at a reputable bank
      - Licensed Attorney in Virginia, North Carolina, or New York; or meet reciprocity requirements
      - Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited Law School
      - Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
