What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate activities of the patient care team on the unit and monitor the quality of care delivered during shifts
- Support the organization's customer-centric service program by addressing patient, family, and physician concerns
- Assess, coach, and evaluate staff’s clinical practice and competency levels
- Maintain effective communication with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare team members
- Provide direct patient care as needed, including assessing, planning, and evaluating patient needs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or a related field, with a BSN required within three years of hire
- Minimum of three (3) years of direct care RN nursing experience in an acute care setting
- Professional certification in a clinical or leadership specialty within two (2) years of hire
- Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate strong leadership skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's Degree in nursing or a related field within five (5) years of hire
- Charge Nurse or supervisory experience
- Membership in a professional organization within three months of hire
- Proactive leadership style with a focus on quality care delivery
- Experience in mentoring or training nursing staff
