What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate activities of the patient care team on the unit and monitor quality of care delivered during shifts
- Support the organization's customer-centric service program and address patient/family concerns
- Assess, coach, and evaluate staff’s clinical practice and competency
- Facilitate communication between nursing staff and physicians to ensure quality patient care
- Provide direct patient care as needed, assessing, planning, and evaluating patient status
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of direct care RN nursing experience in an acute care setting
- Professional certification in a clinical or leadership specialty within two (2) years of hire
- Ability to communicate effectively and possess strong critical thinking skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in nursing or related field within five (5) years of hire
- Experience as a Charge Nurse or in a supervisory role
- Membership in a professional organization within three months of hire
- Strong customer service abilities and experience in service recovery
- Proven track record of effective leadership in a clinical setting
