      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide technical and compliance oversight for cytogenetics and molecular genetics case evaluations.
      - Prepare and review case reports, ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines.
      - Collaborate on business planning with various departments and stakeholders.
      - Conduct genetics-related research and contribute to the teaching mission through lectures and training.
      - Serve as a CAP/CLIA Technical Supervisor as delegated.

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Certification or completion of an American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ABMGG) or ACGME fellowship in laboratory genetics and genomics.
      - Minimum of two years postdoctoral laboratory experience in a clinical cytogenetics and molecular genetics laboratory.
      - Educational qualifications in related CMS specialties to qualify under CLIA and as a CAP Technical Supervisor.
      - Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with clinicians and staff.
      - Ability to visually distinguish colors, with successful color vision screening required before employment.

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - PhD in genetics or a related field is required.
      - Additional experience in a clinical genetics laboratory is preferred.
      - Experience in teaching and training students, fellows, and residents.
