What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows as needed
- Collaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
- Deliver evidence-based psychiatric diagnostic assessments and treatment
- Provide court reports and testimony for forensic and civil cases
- Maintain timely and professional medical records using the Arkansas State Hospital EMR system
What is Required (Qualifications):
- M.D. or equivalent degree
- ABPN-certified or eligible for certification in Psychiatry
- Eligibility for and successful acquisition of an unrestricted Arkansas medical license
- Malpractice insurance and credentialing by central Arkansas teaching hospitals are required
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team

- Demonstrated experience in teaching or research in a clinical setting
- Previous work with forensic psychiatric populations
