What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Deliver high-quality online instruction and mentoring to students, ensuring exceptional learning experiences
- Actively engage in curriculum and course development, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance educational offerings
- Provide doctoral mentoring and guidance to students, facilitating their completion of dissertation and capstone projects
- Participate in school and university governance through committee involvement and leadership roles
- Contribute to community service and professional practice, representing the employer in various professional settings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Doctorate in a related field required
- Minimum of two years of experience teaching in higher education and in an online setting
- Experience teaching biology or life sciences required
- Proven success in writing curriculum and supporting learner success
- Commitment to diversity, cultural sensitivity, and excellence within the academic community
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience presenting at professional conferences on a national or local level
- Experience with scholarly writing and use of APA 7th edition
- Membership in educational leadership organizations on a national, regional, or local level
- Demonstrated commitment to service and practice in the field of educational leadership
