      Summary of Job Duties:
      The Assistant Professor will serve as the Co-Course Director for GENC 52302: Metabolic Genetics, a required course in the College of Health Professions Genetic Counseling Program. GENC 52302: Metabolic Genetics (2 credit hours) provides instruction on inborn errors of metabolism, including diagnosis, biochemical characteristics, inheritance patterns, and treatment options. Enrollment is limited to students enrolled in the Genetic Counseling Program.
      Qualifications:
      • Master of Science in Medical Genetics
      • American Board of Genetic Counselors


      Additional Information:

      Responsibilities
      • Serve as Co-Course Director for GENC 52302: Metabolic Genetics.
      • Coordinate course administration, including managing exams and final assessments through ExamSoft.
      • Maintain course content, assignments, grades, and communications in Blackboard.
      • Ensure compliance with Accreditation Council for Genetic Counseling (ACGC) instructional faculty standards.
      • Collaborate with faculty and program leadership to support effective course delivery and student success.
      • Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Chair.
