What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Teach four asynchronous online courses per semester, focusing on the generalist social work curriculum
- Provide academic advising to students, supporting their academic and professional goals
- Ensure compliance with Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accreditation standards
- Attend seven duty days on campus throughout the academic calendar
- Engage in program development and expansion efforts within the social work department
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s Degree in Social Work from a CSWE accredited university
- Minimum of two years of post-MSW work experience
- Documented teaching experience in social work at the higher education level
- Experience with online course delivery and asynchronous teaching technologies
- Must be licensed as a social worker in Minnesota or able to obtain a license by the start date

- Terminal degree in a human services profession (Ph.D., DSW, or other terminal degree)
- Demonstrated commitment to a student-centered approach in education
- Ability to work effectively across diverse populations
- Experience in developing and expanding social work programs
- Fluency in two or more languages, enhancing cross-cultural engagement
