What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Teach four asynchronous online courses per semester, focusing on the generalist social work curriculum
- Provide academic advising to students to support their academic and professional growth
- Ensure alignment with Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accreditation standards
- Attend seven duty days on campus per academic calendar for essential events
- Engage in the development and expansion of the social work program
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s Degree in Social Work from a CSWE accredited university
- Two years of post-MSW work experience
- Documented teaching experience in social work in higher education
- Experience with online course delivery and asynchronous teaching technologies
- Must be licensed as a social worker in Minnesota or able to obtain licensure by the start date

- Terminal degree in a human services profession (Ph.D., DSW, or other terminal degree)
- Demonstrated commitment to a student-centered approach in education
- Ability to work across differences and enhance cross-cultural engagement
- Experience in developing and expanding a social work program
- Fluency in two or more languages
