What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Teach four asynchronous online courses per semester, focusing on the generalist social work curriculum
- Provide academic advising to students, supporting their professional development
- Ensure alignment with Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accreditation standards
- Attend seven duty days on campus throughout the academic calendar, including key events like Commencement
- Engage in program development and expansion initiatives within the social work department
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s Degree in Social Work from a CSWE accredited university
- Two years of post-MSW work experience
- Terminal degree in a human services profession (Ph.D., DSW, or other terminal degree)
- Documented teaching experience in social work in higher education
- Experience with online course delivery and asynchronous teaching technologies
