What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Teach four asynchronous online courses per semester, focusing on the generalist social work curriculum
- Provide academic advising to undergraduate students, ensuring alignment with accreditation standards
- Participate in campus duties for seven days each academic calendar year, including commencement
- Engage in program development and expansion of the social work curriculum
- Maintain communication with students and faculty to enhance the online learning experience
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s Degree in Social Work from a CSWE accredited university
- Minimum of two years of post-MSW work experience
- Terminal degree in a human services profession (Ph.D., DSW, or other terminal degree)
- Documented teaching experience in social work within higher education
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a social worker in Minnesota by the start date
