      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct audits of state and local governments, ensuring accountability and compliance
      - Collaborate with team members in planning and executing audits on-site at various governmental entities
      - Provide mentoring and guidance to entry-level auditors as part of professional development
      - Engage in critical thinking and problem-solving to address audit-related challenges
      - Prepare and present audit findings to stakeholders, promoting transparency and improvement

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three college-level accounting courses, or equivalent experience
      - Relevant experience in accounting, auditing, finance, banking, or financial investigations
      - Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in accounting/auditing depending on the level applied for
      - Strong written and verbal communication skills
      - Ability to manage time effectively and collaborate within a team environment

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Government audit experience
      - Additional years of relevant experience beyond the minimum requirements
      - Proficiency in accounting principles and auditing standards
      - Experience in financial investigations or compliance audits
      - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
