What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead underwriting strategy execution and performance for the Northeast Region to drive profitability and compliance
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and agency partners to enhance pricing accuracy and risk assessment
- Ensure underwriting quality and compliance with regulatory standards while driving continuous innovation
- Provide training, coaching, and succession planning to build a high-performing underwriting unit
- Represent underwriting in strategic planning and agency engagement to support sustainable growth
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in insurance, business administration, or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum of ten years of commercial lines underwriting experience, including at least four years in a leadership role
- CPCU designation or other underwriting-related designation(s) preferred
- Extensive expertise in underwriting principles and risk management strategies
- Exceptional leadership capabilities with a proven track record in mentoring high-performing teams
