What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Teach courses in the Online Hybrid JD Program, including Torts, Property, and other required subjects
- Engage in synchronous and asynchronous online teaching with innovative methods
- Participate in faculty service to the institution and the broader legal community
- Contribute to the intellectual exchange of ideas and public education about the law
- Serve on committees and attend virtual campus events to support the school's mission
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be able to work legally within the United States without sponsorship
- Demonstrated evidence of or potential for outstanding scholarly achievement
- Strong online teaching skills in both synchronous and asynchronous formats
- Commitment to social justice and improving the law through education
- Ability to perform all essential functions of the job with or without basic accommodations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience teaching legal subjects such as Contracts, Criminal Law, Evidence, Civil Procedure, and Professional Responsibility
- Previous involvement in educational service or community engagement initiatives
- Strong commitment to diversity and inclusion in the academic environment
