What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high-quality service and effective communication
- Manage day-to-day operations for client accounts, including coverage issues, contract and exposure analysis
- Cross-sell and refer new business leads while assisting clients in making appropriate coverage changes
- Prepare formal proposals and ensure compliance with Standard Operating Guidelines for all insurance transactions
- Maintain accurate documentation in agency systems and manage accounts receivables for the book
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma
- 3-7 years of experience in personal insurance
- Current California Department of Insurance License
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with clients
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- College degree preferred
- Experience with insurance plan design and client presentations
- Knowledge of carrier websites and coverage options
- Familiarity with EPIC systems for accurate file management
- Previous experience in a client-focused role within the insurance industry
