What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop, maintain, analyze, and modify complex applications within a diverse technical environment
- Gather functional requirements and translate customer business needs into technical specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and ensure adherence to quality assurance standards
- Analyze and evaluate the technical infrastructure for existing and new enterprise information systems
- Provide technical assistance and expertise to team members and ensure timely project completion
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field
- Foundational experience in systems analysis, business process analysis, and requirements gathering
- Exposure to or experience supporting enterprise-level systems and applications
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts with familiarity in languages such as Java or Groovy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to convey complex information effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in information technology or a related field
- Experience with business processes and applications in Higher Education, particularly with Ellucian Banner
- Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL development for database integration
- Experience with API development and integration, including RESTful and SOAP-based services
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration
