      What you will do:

      As the Associate People Partner you will support our growing Retail and Customer Service teams playing a vital part in delivering a superior employee experience for our front-line employees. We are seeking a passionate inquisitive HR professional that is ready to elevate their HR expertise in order to help the People team to continue to build a best-in-class organization.

      Responsibilities:

      • Act as the primary liaison for employees on our retail and customer service teams.
      • Cultivate a profound understanding of Saatva's Employee Handbook and Policies, offering guidance to both employees and managers.
      • Manage the [email protected] inbox.
      • Develop expertise with ADP Workforce including the ability to act as a backup in preparing ADP payroll runs.
      • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the leave of absence and medical accommodation process with our third party leave administrator, managers, payroll and employees.
      • Generate quantitative reports to monitor key performance indicators.
      • Maintain meticulous digital records of personnel-related data and personnel files, ensuring compliance with all employment requirements.
      • Collaborate with other departments (payroll, benefits, etc.).
      • Support supervisors in performance management procedures.
      • Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding, including data entry, I9 processing, and exit interviews.
      • Coordinate meetings, HR events, and maintain the team's agenda.
      • Organize and support training sessions, new hire orientations, and record updates for new hires.

      What you will need:

      • Degree in HR/Business preferred.
      • Prior HR experience with an understanding of HR practices, policies, and procedures.
      • Experience with ADP Workforce or equivalent HRIS platform, ADP Payroll experience is a plus
      • Experience onboarding and offboarding employees including handling completion of administrative paperwork.
      • Strong communications and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels of the organization, including clearly communicating HR initiatives and policies in a positive and collaborative work environment.
      • Strong problem-solving skills to address HR issues, performance management, conflicts, and challenges that may arise within the organization.
      • Able to create, analyze and interpret HR metrics and data, allowing for data-driven decision-making and the ability to measure the impact of HR initiatives.
      • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations to ensure the organization remains in compliance with local, state, and federal laws. e.g., FLSA, FMLA, etc.
      • Organized, detail oriented with the ability to execute HR projects effectively and on deadline.
      • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and changing work environment.
      • Demonstrates a high level of discretion and sound judgment, ensuring the strict maintenance of confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

      Hybrid Work Environment:

      As this role embraces a hybrid model, we anticipate your presence at our Whitestone Queens office every Tuesday and weekly visits to one of our NYC-area viewing rooms.
