- Identifies program financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Improves financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending improvements to management
- Provide real time information to Finance Manager regarding changes in program financials and execution
- Create and maintain standard financial reports: orders, sales, cost, profit and cash flow forecasts, Monthly Program Status Reports, Earned Value reports
- Conduct Estimate at Complete (EAC) analysis and prepare accompanying analysis and recommendations for presentation to various levels of leadership.
- Ensure program financials are in accordance with SOX and Internal Controls
- Establish and maintain baselines and EACs in the Earned Value tool (COBRA)
- Analyze program data to ensure estimates are accurate and complete
- Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing results as needed
- Other duties as assigned

About This Role
The Associate Financial Analyst position conducts analysis, maintains forecasts, and provides EACs for multiple programs. Under the direction of a Principal Financial Analyst or Finance Manager, the Analyst will generate and track monthly budgets, cost projections, and sales and profit estimates, in addition to various other ad hoc requests
Responsibilities
Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree required, degrees in Accounting or Finance preferred.
· Experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
· Program baselining, forecasting, and financial support experience preferred
· Must have the ability to be a self-starter and work with minimal supervision
· Program Finance/Government contracting experience is a plus
· Experience with Earned Value Management is a plus
· Familiarity with FAR/DFAR is a plus
