What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Evaluate credentialing applications for accuracy and completeness, obtaining required verifications
- Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify questions and request missing information
- Update credentialing software systems with necessary information
- Conduct follow-ups on recredentialing applications and collaborate with internal and external contacts
- Review and process daily alerts for sanctions, exclusions, and Medicare opt-out reports
What is Required (Qualifications):
- At least 1 year of experience in a data processing, production, and/or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Strong data entry skills
- Self-direction and logical thinking abilities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and applicable software programs
