What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage web content for the Public Health Preparedness and Response Program, ensuring accuracy and currency
- Develop and update communication materials, including newsletters and presentations, following branding guidelines
- Coordinate logistical details for meetings, teleconferences, and training events
- Assist in the procurement of supplies and maintain accurate records of purchases and contracts
- Support various program initiatives by collaborating with staff, members, and partners on assessments and resources
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree (preferred) in a STEM field or public health with one year of relevant experience in an administrative position, or an Associate's degree with at least two years of relevant experience
- Experience in a clinical or public health laboratory or governmental agency (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with SharePoint preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
