What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a writer and editor for various communications efforts across internal and external channels
- Produce digital content including social media posts, videos, podcasts, and interactive materials
- Adapt and update existing content for online distribution while ensuring best practices in SEO and SEM
- Maintain relationships with Institute staff to stay informed about current activities and research
- Manage workload effectively to meet deadlines and support the editorial efforts of the communications team
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, or a related subject
- 1-3 years of writing experience, including experience with online content creation
- Exceptional editing and proofreading skills, with a strong knowledge of grammar and spelling
- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with content creation/editing software

- Experience developing content for various online platforms and audiences
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to quickly adapt to new software and tools used in content production
- Proven ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with diverse staff at all levels
