      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Verify the accuracy of insurance coverage for scheduled services
      - Obtain referrals, authorization, and initiate pre-certification of insurance
      - Maintain departmental defined timely and accuracy requirements
      - Identify patient responsible amounts due and refer to the Financial Counselor
      - Perform other duties as required

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Must reside in Ohio or Pennsylvania
      - Minimum educational requirement: High school diploma or equivalent
      - 1 to 2 years of relevant experience required, with 3 to 5 years preferred
      - Experience in a moderate to large healthcare hospital-based enterprise in a relevant position
      - Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience working with physicians, providers, and clinical staff related to the authorization process
      - Epic experience is preferred
      - Demonstrated excellence in patient/customer service aspects
