- Post secondary degree in a related field such as human resources, public administration, business administration, or equivalent, and a minimum of one (1) year of experience.
- Human resources experience involving research, data extraction, and report development, or a combination of education training and experience.
- Preference may be given to candidates who have:
- An undergraduate degree or higher and two (2) years of experience in HR.
- Progress towards obtaining a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation.

The Ministry of Mental Health and Addictions leads the province in efforts to improve the mental well-being and reduce substance use-related harms for all British Columbians. The ministry has overall responsibility for the development of a provincial mental health and substance use system that is coherent, accessible, and culturally safe and effective for individuals and families across the lifespan.
The People and Culture Branch is responsible for the strategic vision and leadership for ministry human resource management strategies, programs, initiatives, and workforce planning and analysis.
The position involves planning and analyzing HR issues for workforce planning, generating trend reports for workforce plans, customizing corporate initiatives, monitoring branch performance, contributing to business/strategic plans, and internal communications and materials. This role performs research, analysis, and reporting functions to support a best practice approach to strategic workforce planning and organizational development.

Remote work is allowed; this position can work up to full time from their home in British Columbia subject to an approved telework agreement.
