      The Strategy, Policy and Partnerships division is responsible for leading the development and implementation of human resource legislation and policy direction; strategic management of the achievement of the PSA’s transformation goals; leading and facilitating organizational effectiveness and transformational change; and leading the BCPS reconciliation, equity, diversity and inclusion agenda. The division also provides leadership for executive talent programs and senior leader reviews, and corporate Provincial Employee Community Services Fund program.

      The Change Manager is responsible for creating and implementing change strategies for complex and/or high-profile PSA initiatives affecting ministries across government. The Change Manager builds strategic relationships with stakeholders across ministries to drive strategic transformation and ensure project benefits are achieved and sustained. The Change Manager provides expert change management advice and counsel to PSA business areas, and provides executive coaching and support to promote active and effective change sponsorship in the PSA. The Change Manager is responsible for leading continuous improvement, learning and development and other efforts to build the PSA’s organizational change readiness, capacity, and maturity.

      Job Requirements:

      • Degree in change management, project management or related field.
      • 5 years of *recent experience. *Recent experience is defined as within in the past 8 years.

      *Recent experience must include a combination of the following:

      • Management-level experience leading change management and/or business transformation.
      • Experience developing recommendations and/or designing organizational change management initiatives to meet the strategic goals of an organization.
      • Experience managing and developing a team of employees as a direct supervisor.
      • Experience delivering presentations to senior and/or executive leaders.

      Preference may be given to applicants with one or more of the following:

      • Change management certification, credentials, or coursework.
      • Change management experience within a large, multifaceted organization.
      • Experience providing oversight of change management programs at an organization-wide level.
