Job Description

- Oversee Banquet Coordinators, Banquet Supervisors, Banquet Servers, and Banquet Bartenders.
- Responsible for scheduling, monitoring staff and overtime as dictated by schedule of events.
- Manage weekly payroll for all hourly front of house staff.
- Manage special event(s) front of house operations, e.g., staff assignments and service plan creation in conjunction with culinary and stewarding departments.
- Maintain equipment inventory.
- Hire, train, and develop banquet events teams to include Supervisors and Banquet Staff.
- Interview, hire and on-board new team members.
- Attend weekly BEO meetings and event walk-throughs.
- Responsible for maintaining, updating, and generating labor tracking reports.
- Requires knowledge of labor control, bar inventories and cost controls.
- Manage monthly inventory reports.
- Must be able to work stadium wide events and special events as assigned.
- Responsible for implementing and ensuring information is entered into POS systems.
- Performing other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required (including lifting or pulling up to 50 lbs.)
- To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential responsibility at the highest level.
- Required to have knowledge of food and beverage service and fine dining.
- Must be able to work non-traditional hours and have a flexible schedule (early mornings, weekends, nights, holidays)
- Must have required food and beverage certification (Food Handlers, RBS training)
- 3-5 years’ experience in Food and Beverage, specifically in banquets and catering in a high volume event venue.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of Union protocols and compliance.

The purpose of the Banquets Manager is to oversee daily banquets and catering operations at the SoFi Stadium venue. This individual will manage front of house operations for special events hosted on the property and will report directly to the Director of Catering and Special Events.

COMPENSATION
Competitive salary $65,000 - $70,000, commensurate with experience and a generous benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
