What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Own and execute sales strategy to meet annual revenue goals
- Identify, qualify, and secure business across various sectors including aerospace and defense
- Deliver technical demonstrations and impactful presentations to clients
- Provide guidance on testing methods and system configurations
- Manage sales pipeline and forecasting using CRM tools
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in technical sales or applications engineering
- Knowledge of metallurgy, materials testing, or thermal-mechanical processing
- Proven track record of sales success, preferably in capital equipment sales
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present confidently to experts
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in selling capital equipment or laboratory instrumentation
- Familiarity with ASTM and ISO standards
- Knowledge of DoD/DoE procurement processes
- Existing network in aerospace, defense, and materials R&D sectors
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in materials science or related field
