What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide therapeutic management strategies and clinical coordination to individuals, groups, and family members using evidence-based strategies
- Conduct initial screenings and assessments to gather necessary information for client care
- Develop person-centered recovery plans based on patients' needs and preferences
- Provide crisis services to patients and walk-ins as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with GCC policies and procedures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Requires a master's degree in the behavioral sciences field of study from an accredited college or university pursuing licensure
- LPC Associate or LMSW pursuing LCSW is required
- One to two years of full-time experience in human services is required
- Ability to operate video/virtual communication formats effectively
- Must maintain a clear driving record and Texas Driver's License, along with reliable transportation and current auto liability insurance
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Two years of full-time experience in human services preferred
- Familiarity with local social service networks
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle emergency situations calmly
- Experience with crisis intervention techniques
- Proficiency in computer skills and various software programs
