What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee clinical staff performing Utilization Management Review services for Medicaid members
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of review cases in compliance with contract requirements
- Assess and adjust daily workloads and schedules to meet department demands
- Conduct annual performance reviews and identify staff learning needs
- Foster relationships with internal and external customers to enhance the review process
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Active unrestricted Arkansas Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Psychological Examiner (LPE-I)
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant clinical experience in a behavioral health setting
- At least 2 years of Utilization Management or Utilization Review experience
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or people management experience
- Strong understanding of HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules

- Strong critical thinking and medical record abstracting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proven ability to work in a team environment, both remotely and in-person
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software programs in a Windows environment
- Experience with State Medicaid programs
