      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Serve as a lead worker, providing guidance and training to other Benefit Programs Specialists
      - Assist in the preparation of case records and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies
      - Handle complex and sensitive cases, interpreting policies related to benefit programs
      - Provide training for new employees and clients, coordinating orientation sessions
      - Collaborate with community resources and partners to assist clients in meeting their needs

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma with at least six (6) years of relevant work experience in public assistance and benefit programs
      - Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing public assistance
      - Proficiency in using computers and agency software for case management
      - Excellent oral and written communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders
      - Ability to analyze information and make informed decisions based on various sources

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience mentoring new employees and leading teams
      - Completion of training in at least six benefit programs (e.g., SNAP, TANF)
      - Certifications in leadership development courses
      - Background in quality assurance case reading or acting supervisory roles
      - Bilingual abilities are a plus
