What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor monthly financials for clients and enter data into client exhibits
- Prepare and send monthly financial reports with activity analysis and large claim details
- Develop financial/underwriting exhibits including financial projections and large claim analyses
- Assist Account Executives/Benefits Consultants with proposals and renewals of benefit coverages
- Participate in market meetings, seminars, and training programs as directed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, economics, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 1 year of financial experience with knowledge of employee benefits
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly strong to expert level skills in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently with strong organizational skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Active Life/Accident and Health Insurance Agent License (to be obtained within one year)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and proactive approach to client financial requirements
- Experience in client functions and presentations
