Job Description

- Performs all duties of a Beverage Cart Attendant, Halfway House Attendant and Bev Cart Supervisor as well as:
- Manage all aspects of Beverage Cart Department
- Responsible for hiring and training new associates, all staffing requirements and weekly schedule.
- Maintain proper par levels on all product at all times, requisition new product as needed, control inventory and product costs.
- Reconcile weekly time cards and payroll including all service charges and gratuity.
- Work closely with other departments, maintain professional demeanor at all times.
- Discipline associates as needed. Train and coach associate, support in their improvements.
- Attend weekly and monthly meetings.
- Work closely with group contacts to ensure a successful event.
- Schedule and perform monthly department meetings.
- Maintain beverage cart fleet, communicate with Fleet Mechanic, Continued training with associates on safety and golf etiquette.
- Supervise all associates within department and help to keep department operational striving to always increase standards and performance.
- Valid Driver’s License
- TABC Certified
- Food Handler’s Certification
- Prior knowledge and experience of serving and selling alcoholic beverages.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, outgoing and very customer service orientated.
- At least 18 years of age.
- 1-2 years bartending experience preferred
- Candidates must be able to speak fluent English.
- Position requires the ability to lift 20-30 pounds without assistance.
- Flexibility in hours, ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Be quick and efficient to effectively handle the pressure and demand of serving multiple guests at a time.
- Be able to withstand various weather conditions.
- Must be able to function calmly under pressure.
- Cash Handling experience, end of day reconciliation, basic arithmetic skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Possesses stamina and energy to remain active and move quickly for up to 10 hour shifts.
- Hours may vary due to seasonal nature of position. Early hours often required (6am); Holidays and Weekends often required. Extra Hours (40+/-) required occasionally due to business levels.
