What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Respond to customer service calls and correspondence according to Standard Operating Procedures and contract requirements
- Document correspondence and contacts in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and contract requirements
- Complete system updates in SMI and State systems as per Standard Operating Procedures
- Handle upset callers and provide effective customer service
- Process child support payments and related inquiries following established policies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of experience in service delivery, customer service, or call center technology
- Proficient in data entry skills and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Windows products
- Ability to work independently with little direction and maintain confidentiality
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in child support policies and procedures
- Knowledge of SDU payment processing
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with integrity and ethics
- Availability to work varied schedules and overtime as necessary
