What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage employee trackers and conduct initial intake of employee concerns
- Source, screen, and interview job applicants for craft hourly openings
- Conduct trainings and interviews in French, including translation assistance
- Track and analyze recruitment data, managing campus recruitment efforts
- Support HR team with benefits, HRIS, labor issues, and employee management
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of HR experience
- Fully bilingual in French and English
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, or relevant discipline
- Knowledge of Ontario and Quebec labor legislation and the Employment Standards Act
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with labor unions and CCQ agreements in Quebec
- Self-starter with proactive research abilities in employment law
- Industry knowledge is a plus but not required
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills in both languages
