- Execute direct sales and marketing of D-SNP Medicare products to eligible dual-status (Medicare/Medi-Cal) populations within assigned territories.
- Build and nurture a strong local outreach network to generate leads and increase community program visibility.
- Utilize CRM software to manage lead pipelines, conduct timely follow-ups, and track enrollment activities.
- Translate complex insurance details into easy-to-understand, accessible language for prospective members of diverse backgrounds.
- Maintain complete compliance with CMS guidelines, Medicare regulations, and internal organizational standards.
- Languages: Fluent bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (formal medical terminology assessment required).
- Licensure: CA Accident and Health or Sickness Insurance license (or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire).
- Certifications: Active AHIP certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire).
- Experience: 2+ years of Medicare sales experience, with specific expertise in D-SNP and Medi-Cal/Medicaid nuances.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (4 additional years of direct sales experience may substitute for a degree).
- Technical Skills: Experience managing sales pipelines within CRM platforms.
- Location/Schedule: Must reside in the Pacific Time Zone (PST) and be available to work standard schedules (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM PST) with flexibility for rotations up to 8:00 PM or weekend coverage as needed.
- Modality: 100% Remote (Must reside within PST). Priority is given to candidates living near Santa Cruz, Monterey, Merced, San Benito, or Mariposa counties.
- Duration: Temporary contract position through December 31, 2026.
- Equipment: Laptop and technical equipment provided by the employer.
- Zone 1 ($40.00 - $50.00/hr): Bay Area, Los Angeles, San Diego, Sacramento, Santa Cruz, San Benito, and Monterey Counties.
- Zone 2 ($37.00 - $47.00/hr): Central Valley, Fresno, Bakersfield, Merced, Mariposa, San Luis Obispo, and Eastern California.
Role Summary
We are seeking a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Medicare Sales Specialist to join a growing team focused on expanding access to healthcare for underserved populations. In this contract role through December 2026, you will engage directly with dual-eligible (Medicare/Medi-Cal) individuals to educate them on D-SNP offerings, build local referral networks, and drive program enrollment across California.

Hourly base pay is adjusted for geographic zones to compensate for the non-commission structure:
